Who are Truth Origins?
Dr Harry, our co-founder, is talking all about our company today
-Written by Shani Kaplan
Now that we have a strong brand in Europe- we want to bring it back to Australia, back home.
Australian creators, Australian made products. We are a proud company.
What is the mission of Truth Origins?
Quite simply, we want to bring the truth to you. Co-founder, Dr Harry explains, “so many of my patients were overweight, and in trouble with their health at a young age – having ‘let themselves go’. I would have to have tough discussions with them (many of whom had young children out in the waiting room)”. But it is never too late to take action and improve your health. We want to give you the scientific facts to apply to your health and healing journey.
What we offer are simple and easy ways to improve your health, be that in the form of the products we formulate or the advice that we give. The best plans to improve your health are the ones that are easy to execute even when you’re busy or low on motivation. We, therefore, want to give you access to high quality, safe and effective products. Always.
We trust in the healing power of plants. We try to unlock the power of nature in a way that has scientific evidence behind it. All of our products are clean and green, and we live by the transparency with our products, their effects and ingredients. Your trust means everything to us.
How can people turn this awareness into more?
It is about attempting to maintain healthy habits and accepting that it’s basically impossible to do so all of the time. Believe it or not, that took me nearly 40 years to figure that out. Before that, I was so ‘all-or-nothing’ and would feel guilty whenever I fell off the wagon. I was on a diet or not. I was all in with exercise or not exercising. But as I counselled more and more patients, I realised that engaging in one healthy habit in a day was better than none. -In other words, just because you’re not on a ketogenic or low-carb diet, doesn’t mean you need to be eating nachos every night. It is about harm minimisation, healthy habits and maintaining a positive approach to health.
For example, I have on my to-do list to do yoga and meditate every single day. I don’t tick that box every day by a long shot but if I can do it 3- or 4 times a week then that is way better than not doing it at all. And, the act of looking at it just keeps my head in the game while I am doing something else.

Why are these particular products so important?
Curcumin is such a promising plant-based substance, the research is going ballistic.
Those living in the developed world are prone to inflammation from the processed foods we are eating, and the environment we are living within. Omega-3 fatty acids have long been prescribed and taken for a range of conditions ranging from heart disease to osteoarthritis. Vitamin C is the mother of all anti-oxidants. It’s essential in the fact that we cannot produce it ourselves, and without we cannot live. It is fundamental to skin health and immune function.
We want you to start your day well, so take a few pumps of Curcumin, Vitamin C, and Omegas in water or a smoothie on the way out the door. Natural alternatives to pharmaceuticals (like Nurofen) that taste great and keep your health high. We take them, we love them, and our European customers are really feeling that this is making a huge difference in their lives. We aren’t saying we can guarantee it will work for everyone, but we will give you your money back if it doesn’t.
What is the best advice you can give to somebody wanting to change their lifestyle?
I heard an ideology once and it really resonated. You can only really focus on two things at a time. If you’re really focused on losing weight and getting fit, you can do it. But if you’re also juggling a marriage with 3 kids and you have a demanding job or have sick parents, remember you only have 2 “focus slots” and one is being taken up by getting healthy/fit, how hard will it be to work out the other important focus from that list…
I truly believe this sentiment. What it tells me is that you have a couple of options with respect to discipline. You need to make your focuses into habits. When it is a habit, it no longer requires a thought process and therefore, you free up a focus slot.
For example, every single day you walk to and from the bus stop which is 20 mins away and then you eat an omelette and a coffee for breakfast, every lunch is a salad and every dinner is protein and vegetables. You don’t even need to think about it, through this you will be losing weight, and then you can allocate those two slots elsewhere.

Transition the focuses into a habit as soon as possible so they don’t take up a slot and become high maintenance. If you bite off more than you can chew, the motivation will become low and that’s when you will inevitably feel like you’re failing. The focus should be on what you most need to or want to improve.
And something else; we can’t beat ourselves upfor not being in “balance”, because it is ultimately impossible. I don’t think I have ever met anyone who has it all worked out. What it is about is healthy, maintainable and enjoyable habits.
And finally, have you got anything exciting in the pipeline (or is it top secret)?
Lots of exciting ideas and things in the process. The more that surfaces in the science world regarding health, the more we want to keep up to date with the findings and always have things accessible to our customers to guarantee their best possible health.
But yes, we will soon release more plant-based goodness. I don’t want to spoil the surprise. 🌱
We hope Dr Harry has helped you understand our values and missions at Truth Origins!
Until next time...
